Met Bas and Katie at city hall mrt station at 545pm today. Went Raffles City foodcourt where Katie and I ate from the mixed rice stall and Bas ate fishball mee pok(without chilli!! can you imagine?Looked so bland to me =X...)Called Seok at 6pm to make sure she woke up from her nap so she could meet us on time. We finished eating at around 630pm and went on a bathroom search that couldnt wait till we reach AJ. After that, we walked back to the mrt station and met Seok at 645pm under the clock. The mrt was really packed!! We literally had to squeeze our way through in order to get into the train. Horrible really! Must be due to the fact that after today it would be the school holidays. Which means town area would be filled with throngs of students for this coming month. Sighz..Anyway, we reached AJ at around 715pm and met Cheng Hwan there. Coming back to AJ really brought back floods of sweet memories from the past 2 years. Sitting in the auditorium got me kind of nostalgic..reminded me of the times we spent trying not to fall asleep during mass civics,chem,physics and maths lectures..haha! And of course, not to mention our previous 2 guitar concerts held there and the late nights we pulled just to get our notes right. Time really flies..seems like just yesterday that I first stepped into AJ. No wonder they said that JC life is very fast-paced!
Anyway, the guitar concert wasnt fantastic. Although there were a few pieces that were praise-worthy, the pieces that they took from our performance last year were honestly just second-rated versions. Maybe that's coz they had more songs to perform this year, considering the fact that this is the first time in many years that the AJ Guitar Ensemble is having the concert all by themselves. Overall, it was just alright for me. Nothing spectacular.
After the concert, we originally wanted to go AMK Central just to chat and catch up with one another, but time didnt allow that. Sighz..so we just went home. It was great just to meet up with them though..took lots of photos.=)
